Bloomto Founder Amy Joins Children's Day Volunteer Program at Zhujiang Hospital

On International Children's Day, our founder Amy joined a meaningful volunteer program at Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University, spending a memorable morning with young patients and their families.

Together with healthcare professionals and fellow volunteers, Amy helped create a warm and joyful Children's Day celebration, bringing encouragement and companionship to children undergoing treatment.

A Morning Filled with Love and Smiles

As the morning sunshine filled the hospital, volunteers gathered early to decorate activity booths with colorful crafts and cheerful decorations. Tables soon came alive with handmade animal balloons and traditional mugwort sachets, creating a welcoming space where children could enjoy hands-on activities.

Working side by side with the children, volunteers patiently helped them complete each craft. Every balloon, every handmade sachet, and every finished creation reflected the joy of spending time together. The bright smiles on the children's faces reminded everyone that even a few hours of happiness can make a meaningful difference.

Opening the 'Xinzhi Home · Reading Corner'

A special highlight of the event was the unveiling of the "Xinzhi Home · Reading Corner", a cozy reading space created especially for children staying in the hospital.

More than simply providing books, the reading corner offers comfort, imagination, and emotional support for children during their recovery, creating a peaceful place where stories can inspire hope and brighten each day.

Sharing Gifts and Creating Precious Memories

After the ceremony, volunteers followed medical staff into the pediatric surgery ward, bringing carefully prepared gifts including children's books and mini instant cameras.

As each child received a gift, excitement spread throughout the ward. Laughter replaced silence, and smiles filled every room. Although the visit lasted only one morning, the memories created together will remain far beyond Children's Day.
