Structured Quality Assurance for Custom Sportswear
Ensuring quality in custom sportswear production requires a systematic approach: clear technical specifications, structured sampling at each production stage, and independent inspections. Bloomto follows a three-stage QC protocol to catch issues early and maintain consistent product standards throughout your order.
Three-Stage QC Process
Pre-Production Check
Fabric and trim inspection before cutting begins. Verifies color, weight, width, shrinkage, and colorfastness against approved standards.
In-Line Inspection
Ongoing checks during cutting, sewing, and finishing. Defects are flagged and corrected within the same production batch.
Final Random Inspection
AQL 2.5 standard random sampling on finished goods. Each batch is graded pass/fail before shipment release.
Key Quality Control Points
- Approved Color Samples (Lab Dip): Color matches the approved standard under D65 light before bulk production begins.
- Size Set & Fit Sample: First production sample measured against the tech pack with documented tolerance limits.
- Production Mid-Shipment Check: Random inspection on at least 20% of the order during production.
- Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI): Final AQL-based random check before container loading.
- Performance Testing: Optional third-party lab tests for stretch recovery, colorfastness, pilling, and seam strength.
